The information published on sriishaansolar.com — including subsidy amounts, system pricing, monthly/annual savings, payback periods, and ROI projections — is provided in good faith for general guidance. Actual figures depend on factors specific to your site, eligibility, scheme rules in force on the date of installation, and DISCOM/government decisions outside our control. This page documents what is indicative vs binding.
1. PM Surya Ghar (PMSG) central subsidy
The figures shown on this site (₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, ₹78,000 for 3 kW or more, residential cap) reflect the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana benchmark cost rates as published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) at the time of writing. These rates are revised by MNRE periodically; the actual subsidy you receive is the rate in effect on the date your application is approved by the National Portal. Subsidy is credited only after DISCOM commissioning and inspection.
2. No separate Telangana state top-up subsidy
For residential rooftop solar in Telangana, the central PM Surya Ghar (PMSG) subsidy is the only direct subsidy currently active. There is no separate state-government rooftop-solar top-up that adds to PMSG today. Earlier drafts of this site referred to a state top-up; that text was incorrect and has been removed.
If you see a different claim from any source (a competitor, an article, a forwarded message), the binding reference is what's currently published on the MNRE / National PMSG portal (pmsuryaghar.gov.in) and the TGREDCO empanelment portal. We update this page if the policy changes.
3. System pricing
Pricing on the website (e.g. "₹50,000 per kW all-inclusive" or the 3 kW / 5 kW / 10 kW / 15 kW package figures) is a market-average reference for residential grid-tied solar in Telangana on the date of writing. Final binding pricing is provided in the formal written quotation after a free site survey, and depends on:
- Roof type (RCC vs trapezoidal vs metal sheet vs Mangalore tile vs asbestos)
- Mounting structure required (flush vs elevated vs solar carport)
- Cable run distance to inverter and meter location
- Single-phase vs three-phase service connection
- Panel and inverter brand/model selected
- Battery / hybrid / off-grid additions (if any)
- Net-metering and DCR-compliance requirements
- Component price changes between quote date and order date
4. Savings and payback estimates
Monthly-savings, annual-savings, 25-year-savings, and payback-period figures (e.g. on the home-page calculator and on locality pages) are illustrative projections only. They are computed using these standard assumptions:
- Telangana average insolation (~1,500 kWh per kW per year, 4.1 sun-hours per day average)
- Residential post-300-unit slab tariff at the time of writing
- Tariff escalation of 5% per year (compounding)
- Panel degradation of 0.5% per year
- System life of 25 years
- Panel + inverter performance within manufacturer specifications
Actual generation, savings, and payback in your case will vary based on: shading from neighbouring buildings or trees; roof orientation and tilt; air pollution / dust; cleaning frequency; DISCOM tariff revisions during the system's life; DISCOM net-metering policy changes; component failure rates outside warranty; and your household consumption pattern (especially day vs night load split).
5. Net metering and DISCOM approvals
Net-metering timelines (typically 7–15 days for feasibility, 15–30 days for bi-directional meter installation) are TSSPDCL/TSNPDCL targets, not contractual commitments by Sri Ishaan Solar. Delays caused by DISCOM workload, technical inspection rescheduling, or policy changes are outside our control. We will, however, follow up on your application until it is processed.
6. Quotations are binding only when written
Verbal estimates, WhatsApp chats, blog posts, calculator outputs, and locality pages are not binding price quotations. A binding quotation is issued only on Sri Ishaan Solar Solutions LLP letterhead with a valid-until date, signed by Abhilash Reddy Kandala or Pravalika Reddy. Always confirm via formal quotation before any payment.
7. No financial / tax / legal advice
Information on EMI, tax savings (accelerated depreciation), GST treatment, and similar financial / tax topics is shared for general awareness and does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Please consult your CA / financial advisor before taking decisions based on tax-saving claims.
8. Third-party content
Where this site references third-party brands (Adani, Waaree, Tata, Trina, Jinko, Longi, Growatt, Goodwe, Fronius, Solis, etc.), MNRE programmes, TGREDCO, TSSPDCL, TSNPDCL, or similar — those references are factual mentions only. We do not represent, warrant, or sponsor those third parties; their warranty terms, scheme rules, and policies apply directly between you and them.
9. Updates to this page
We update this disclaimer when scheme rules, tariffs, or policies change materially. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. The version in force at the time of your formal quotation governs your project.
How to get exact numbers for your case
Free site survey covers all of the above. We will issue a written quotation that locks the pricing, and we will confirm your PMSG subsidy entitlement (and any other schemes in force at that time) based on documents you provide and DISCOM feasibility. No commitment.
